The Borrower- Arrietty

The Borrower- Arrietty
Arrietty is the newest work of Japanese animation studio Studio Ghibli. This movie is based on The Borrowers which write by Mary Norton. The screenplay is writing by Hayao Miyazaki who is on the No. 1 spot on my favorite directors list. However, this time, he just let the new director Toshio Suzuki direct it. Luckily, Toshio Suzuki didn’t mess this movie up. This movie still has the special style that Studio Ghibli use to have, which is pure, fancy, makes people feel warm and being touched.
The story started with a boy who called sho go visit his grandma. He accidently found out Arrietty and her families who are all “tiny people” live in under the floor of his grandma’s house. Sho are trying to tell them not to afraid of him. wedding gowns Also, Sho and Arrietty become as good friends after he helps her rescue her mom from maid. However, Due to the tradition, if the borrowers got found out by “big people” they will have to move. Therefore, Sho have to say good bye with Arrietty. And I still believe, someday, they will meet each other again.

In this movie, there are 3 things that I like most, story, music and the design of clothes, house. wedding gowns At music part, there has a song called Arrietty’s song, which is sing by Cécile Corbel. This song has English version and Japanese version which are also makes me feel relax and warm. The voice that Cécile Corbel has is a healing art.
In the style part, the clothes that Arrietty wear will be popular in the cosplayer group. Also the designs of the house in the movie are special. Cocktail Dresses Such as, in Arrietty’s house, they would use stamp as the oil painting. Use the chess decorate their house, the plant pattern is full of house. Also, because Arrietty’s loves ocean, the blind is a picture of ocean, although she never see ocean.
